Interview Agents

Agent appearance

The visual side of the agent — theme, logo variant, logo color, pill position, and the label your visitors see.

The agent's visual surface is a small pill that sits on an edge of your page. You have direct control over how it looks and where it lives, so it can feel native to your product instead of bolted on.

What you can change

Theme

Controls the color scheme of the pill and the interview view.

  • Light — always light theme.
  • Dark — always dark theme.
  • System — follows the visitor's OS preference (the default).
  • System-inverse — opposite of the visitor's OS preference. Useful to stand out and grab the user's attention.

Logo variant

The mark shown inside the pill.

  • Seena dot — the classic pulsing dot.
  • Seena dot matrix — an animated matrix variant. Subtler; good for dense product UIs.
  • None*(Pro)* — If you want to remove the Seena branding and go for a no logo look.

Logo color

Any valid hex color (#RRGGBB). The default is Seena orange (#FF5021) and a select palette of colors that work on both light and dark mode. You can also paste a hex value directly to match your brand palette.

Pill position (general feedback agent only)

Where the pill sits on the viewport.

  • Bottom center — 20px from the bottom edge, centered horizontally. The default.
  • Right edge center — along the right edge, rotated vertically.
  • Left edge center — along the left edge, rotated vertically.

Custom interview agents, and when the feedback agent fires, both use the center bottom of the screen.

Label / Welcome title

The text the visitor reads on the pill. For the general feedback agent, this is the resting label (default: "Feedback"). For custom interview agents, it's the invitation — the short call to action that morphs the pill when the agent triggers. Keep it punchy; the pill is small.

Welcome subtitle

A secondary line shown when the agent expands from the pill into its full invitation state. Good for a sentence of context. Default is "Help improve this page with quick feedback" — most teams override it per agent.

Where these settings live

Appearance settings live on the agent itself, inside the dashboard's interview agents panel. The general feedback agent has one set of appearance settings that applies whenever the pill is in its resting state. Each custom interview agent has its own appearance settings that apply when that agent is actively inviting a visitor.

Changes deploy instantly — no republish or reinstall needed.
